Ford Focus Performance

Engine & Power

The standard engine to all the Ford Focus models include a 2.0 liter DOHC I-4 version that delivers power up to 140 hp at 6000 rpm and torque of 136 lb ft at 4250 rpm. The standard transmission to the engine is 5-speed manual, while it offers 4-speed automatic transmission as optional. The current Ford Focus performance rates are comparatively high than the other models in its class. It can achieve fuel economy of 24 miles per gallon in the city premises and 35 miles per gallon on the highway roads. Major competitors to the Focus model include Scion xB, Nissan Versa, Volkswagen Jetta, and Honda Civic.

Dimensions

As far as the exterior dimensions of the Ford Focus model are concerned, it remains unchanged. It has the wheel base of 102.9 inches. The length, width and height of the model are 175.0 inches, 67.8 inches and 58.6 inches respectively.
